Real Hockey Starts Soon

Hello!

The regular season starts Saturday for the Sabres. A 4-1-1 record in the preseason points (in my mind) to a good start in the regular season as well. I hope that they will make the playoffs this season, and I hope that Miller and Vanek can stay healthy, and we can always hope that Tim Connolly can stay healthy, but that probably will not happen. We really could use a better backup than Lalime, but we lost Telqvist to the KHL, and I think that at this point Regier is done with signing/trading people.

First Game is Tonight

The Sabres first preseason game is at 7:00, that is nice and I hope to be able to either watch it or follow a live box score. Darcy finally signed Drew Stafford! Yay!!! Hopefully Miller and the blue-line crew can shut down Ovechkin.

Sabres: Can We Do It? I Don't Know

I hope the Sabres will make the playoffs this season. I would expect that they will do better, especially if Connolly and Miller can stay healthy. I really DO NOT GET how Regier can keep signing other people but not Stafford, it is rather annoying.
