The regular season starts Saturday for the Sabres. A 4-1-1 record in the preseason points (in my mind) to a good start in the regular season as well. I hope that they will make the playoffs this season, and I hope that Miller and Vanek can stay healthy, and we can always hope that Tim Connolly can stay healthy, but that probably will not happen. We really could use a better backup than Lalime, but we lost Telqvist to the KHL, and I think that at this point Regier is done with signing/trading people.
